  1. BILL SHORT Who is he? – Director of the HEOP Program at SLU. He has been here since 1998. What is HEOP? – HEOP stands for “Higher Education Opportunity Program”. This program allows for economically disadvantaged students and students who may not demonstrate their potential on standardized tests to attend college. Who is eligible for this program? – Eligibility and guidelines can be found at http://www.stlawu.edu/heop/heopeligibility.html When is he coming to our class? – October 22, 2009 during our normal class time. What do we need to do to prepare? – Please prepare three questions per team to have during the presentation. *Bring these to class on Tuesday, October 13th.* Where can we get more information? – check out the HEOP program online (search HEOP at SLU) and come to our class on October 22!
