Payments Dept • Restructuring Payments Dept • Establishment of Policy, Research and Development Division with the following activities. • To define standards that should abide the different payment system in Afghanistan and to get DAB management approval. • Define regulations and procedures governing the payment systems • Define control s that should govern the payment systems in Afghanistan.

Continue • To enhance regular basis the operating environment, policies and procedures • Review domestic/international legislation and regulation concerning payments and securities settlement systems. • Adapting policies and regulations over time and with feedbacks from oversight and other operating teams • Communicating with multi-national and international organization regarding payments and settlement system improvement • Research in the field of payment and settlement systems
