  2. Neptune Neptune is the 8th planet from the sun. It takes 165 Earth years for Neptune to orbit around the sun. Neptune is made out of hydrogen, helium, and methane gas gives Neptune its unique color.

  3. Who discovered Neptune? Urbain Le Verrier is the one that discovered Neptune on September 23rd , 1846

  4. How did Neptune get its name? Neptune got its name by the Roman God of Sea. (Greek: Poseidon)

  5. Neptune’s measurements and distances Mass : 1.0247e26 kg Volume : 6,254 Circumference : 155597 km Gravity : 11.15 The distance from the sun in AU: 30.06, in KM : 49,532 The distance for the sun is : 4,498,252,900 km

  6. The kind of weather on Neptune Neptune has icy clouds, enormous storms, and has the fastest winds. The wind speed on Neptune is 2,000 km and the temperature range is -225 degrees centigrade Neptune has hurricane like storms.

  8. The moons around Neptune Neptune has six moons. The name of the moons are 1. Naiad 2. Thalassa 3. Despina 4. Galatea 5. Larissa and 6. Proteus

  9. What Neptune looks like? Neptune’s composition gives Neptune its unique blue color. Neptune is the third biggest planet in the solar system. Neptune’s color is a turquoise kind of color to it.
