9. The Wright Brothers are hugely known for the invention of the airplane. Many times when people are severely ill airplanes are used as the source of transportation by transporting them from one hospital to another. Proving that without the Wright Brothers’ invention of the airplane many lives would have been lost. Also, airplanes are used during war time, while it may seem like a bad idea; planes used for warfare help to shorten the war span. As a result saving more lives and saving more money. Proving that the Wright Brothers are the most significant people because their creation of airplanes has saved many lives. • "A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives" -Jackie Robinson. Jackie Robinson certainly had an impact on other lives. Despite discrimination, threats, and all odds Jackie Robinson was the first African American to break the segregation barrier and play in the major league of baseball. A new field of equalization for African Americans was breached based on his perseverance.
