Advanced Recovery/ GRPs In Response Task Force Brief Work Products Executive Summary draft drafted Strait Response Strategy drafted Eastern WA Response Strategy drafted Accomplishments ID of tool for responders to be used to communicate why one or several specific response option(s) may be best and why others may not. Location of tool (i.e., Section 3000 of Plan (e.g., 3720) Target audience for tool: external member (e..g, County Councilman) to be used as briefing sheet

Challenges/ Shortfalls/ Gaps • Competing operational demands in May postponed mtgs • Forecast competing Op Tempo for TF members to remain high in June & July • Facilitator swap mid-June may impact continuity • Initial product will be Version 1.0 for two distinct operating environments. Additional areas can be added later and require continued focus and many additional work hours.

  3. Plan Of Action and Milestones Next Meeting: Planned for week of June 11th at Sector Puget Sound. Objectives: • Decide format for final product (draft for Strait or inland version) • Decide which location/version to focus remaining effort on to submit for inclusion in Area Plan Deliverables: A completed 1.0 version briefing tool with executive summary for one specific type environment (either Strait or inland) to be placed in specific section (i.e., 3000) of Area Plan.

  4. Dispersant/ISB Task Force Create a boilerplate dispersant decision memo Map delineating approval/conditional approval (within Puget Sound) Create a boilerplate decision memo for ISB if time allows

  5. Shoreline Task Force • SCAT flow diagram and checklist • SCAT best management practices • 2 boilerplate SCAT plans (small spill, large spill) • Update main body of the plan with basic SCAT information • Shoreline pre-segmentation • Pre-establish divisions if time allows

  6. Tools to Guide decision making • FOSC Dispersant Authorization Checklist - Section 4621. • Supplemental Checklist, Section 4622; • Map of area (spill specific) • Decision Memo produced for the RRT (this is tool we are creating); • Dispersant use plan (this is tool we are creating); • After Action Report by the USCG.

  7. Approval Status • Conditional Approval • Pre-approval* • No Approval* • Recommend we change language in the plan to clarify roles, timing, process & tools
