LCFF • Full implementation to take 8 years • Beginning 2013-14 • Goal to fully implement by 2020-21 • Floor – What was received in the prior year • Target – LCFF at full implementation • Gap – the difference between the Floor and the Target • Gap funding determined by State budget • No guarantee of Gap funding or full implementation by 2020-21

LCFF • Unrestricted Funding • Local Control and Accountability Plan developed by each agency determines expenditures • Some requirements to continue to spend the same amount on specific programs as in 2012-13 • Transportation – permanent • ROC/P and Adult Education - 2 year (2013-14 and 2014-15)
