Lets give ourselves a deadline when we are all connected??? • End of August??? • Rotary International: How many of you are signed in? It’s a great source of info. Lets make this another personal goal for everybody

  10. “Rotary Lunchtime Live” • A new approach: It will require active participation. You are the audience • The show will be presented by a team of seasoned Rotary ‘nuts.’ • It will be ‘zany’ • Every member at any time can & will be asked to tell a joke……and it will be graded. Be prepared. • Be ready for anything and everything.

  11. Rotary Lunchtime Live • We will institute a Service Star Award • A display board will be developed showing each member who provides a service or brings in a new member etc. • Points will be awarded and a eventually a Service Star earned (when we figure out all of the details!)

  12. Membership • Current state of the club: 80 members • In 2016 we had 102 members • Our number one priority • With the current significant losses & downward trend, in order to meet our objectives of 100 members we need to bring in two new members each month….24 for the year. • How can we do this? • We need the help of every single member.

  13. Membership • Rick & Debra will help formulate a strategic plan. • Use social media: Nichol will educate us in September • Many clubs are using these tools to successfully recruit • Next Door.com • Working through the lists from the Chamber of Commerce • Dave developing “Rotary Means Business.” We all need to get behind it. • This will be a weekly item on the show…its that important………the clock is ticking…..

  14. Membership • We will target with specific criteria: • People with the interest & heart (PR/Advertising/networking) • People with the time (Club needs to ‘flex’ to adapt to the needs of current generation & we will) • People with discretionary money: It costs about $1,800 a year to be a member of our club. • Our club is failing in recruiting ‘business/community leaders.’ No finger pointing here….we are all in this together.

  15. Youth Services • We probably have the most comprehensive youth services programs in the District. • Help is really needed in several areas: • Our goals it keep our services as comprehensive as possible & hopefully expand them

  21. Community Services • In addition to: Friday Folders, Bell Ringing, Toys for Tots, Dictionaries, Home Team, School Maps, July 4th.etc. • We will explore opportunities with the Salvation Army. • Our goal is to explore working opportunities with them and become their first resource in emergencies or in crises. • Could we have done more for the Rotarians & people of Paradise?

Let’s really take it to the next level: (Material needed weekly) • Newspapers, periodicals, PSAs, • Should we hire a publicity company? We will explore options.

  29. Valentines Day Event • Our major fundraiser • Now an integral element in every board meeting • Preparation starts now • We need sponsors, donors & volunteers • We have the date: February Friday 14th. 2020

  30. RI President Mark Maloney • “….When it comes to taking care of membership retention and growth, I feel the clubs are not applying those same organizational skills. I want to see Rotary clubs exercising the same degree of innovation, enthusiasm and organizational skills they have in external service to their internal service in their own clubs.”
