Bible The Living Word of God. God. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1: 1). When we speak of the living WORD of God, we presuppose that God is speaking to us. And the WORD of God is above all the other words.

  2. God “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1: 1)

  3. When we speak of the living WORD of God, we presuppose that God is speaking to us.And the WORD of Godis above all theother words.

  4. The Wordof God is a love letter,a message which involves us in God’s redeeming love.We turn to God in our needs, and God responds.

  5. The Word ofGod was at all times, a concrete message for concrete people in concrete circumstances.

  6. In his Word God grants healing, hope, forgiveness, reconciliation.

  7. “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my Words will not pass away.” Mt 24: 35

  8. Stands forever Though the grass withers and the flower wilts, the Word of God stands forever. Isaiah 40: 8

  9. “So shall my Word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but shall do my will, achieving the end for which I sent it.”Isaiah 55: 11 achievement

  10. “The Word of God is alive and effective,sharper than anytwo-edged sword…and able to discernreflections andthoughts of the heart.”Heb 4: 12 Alive
