  2. REASONS: • There were differences in the supporting materials teachers gave out. • Students complained about the situation

  3. WHAT WE DID: • Each teacher was asked to design a pre-test for a quiz of an specific level

  4. WHAT WE DID: • After that, the pre-test was sent to the coordinator, who then sent it to the rest of the teachers

  5. WHAT WE DID: • Teachers sent the pre-test via blackboard a week • before the test

  6. WHAT WE DID: • If teachers had enough time before the test, the pre-tests were checked and doubts were clarified.

RESULTS: • Students knew there was additional material to prepare tests • It was beneficial for new teachers as well: they became familiar with the contents covered in class and had the opportunity to apply the contents in test-like exercises • There were fewer differences in the materials handed out by teachers • Students considered these tests very useful, necessary and interesting; they even asked for them
