  3. 5 members of school staff. Mr Smith, Mrs Price, Miss Cope, Mr Watts, Miss Goddard. • Staff from school will also be visiting, including Mrs Di-Pede. • Staff from Osmington Bay will also be available 24 hours a day, including a senior manager. Supervision

  6. All the children are in rooms of 4. • Decided by the school staff. • Children will find out when we arrive. • The children will have their own key! Rooms

  7. All rooms are lockable and can not be accessed from the outside without a key. • Rooms can be opened from the inside without a key. • Security cameras and night time security. • Staff rooms Safety

  8. Risk assessments carried out by school for travelling by coach and times supervised by school. • Risk assessments for the centre have been assessed by the Local Authority. • Our visit has been approved by Rob Brindley, service manager for Outdoor Education in Dorset. Safety

  10. A Typical Day • 7.00am – Wake up • 7.30am – Breakfast • 9.00am – Activity 1 • 10.30am – Activity 2 • 12.15pm – Lunch • 1.45pm – Activity 3 • 3.15pm – Break • 3.30pm – Activity 4 • 5.00pm – Supervised Free time • 5.30pm – Evening meal • 7.00pm – Evening Activity • 8.30pm - Bed

  11. Please label everything! • Name and school name • Children will need to carry their bag • Book to read • Cuddly toy Kit List

  12. No money will be needed • Maximum of £7.50 • One visit to the vending machine for quiz night • Handed into a member of staff • Souvenirs Pocket Money

  13. Cameras • Disposable • Name and school name • Digital – your risk • No photos in rooms after unpacking.

  14. First meal provided by Osmington will be Wednesday evening so a packed lunch will be needed. • Special requirements have been sent to Osmington • Plastic water bottle Food and Drink

  15. Mrs Price is the nominated school first aider. • Qualified staff from Osmington • All medicine needs to be handed to Mr Watts or Mrs Price on Wednesday Morning. First Aid

  16. Form to fill in • Please try to be very specific about the use of medicine, including inhalers. • Discuss this information with your child. • Children with inhalers will need 2. First Aid

  17. Arrive normal time. • Come in through the staff entrance and leave luggage in the hall. • All medicine and money to Mr Watts or Mrs Price. Fill in any necessary forms. • Coach will leave approximately 10.00am Departure Day

  18. Coach will leave Osmington at 1.00pm and arrive a school around 2.15pm • Children to come straight into school. • Please help unload the coaches. • Collect children, luggage and medicine from the hall. Coming Home
