  3. Minimum Required

  4. Wiring diagram PC with Sysmac Studio NX102-1100 IP:192.168.250.15 GW: 192.168.250.1 NA5-12W101 EtherNet Cable USB cable IP:192.168.250.1 IP:192.168.251.1 S8VK-S06024 IP:192.168.251.20 GW: 192.168.251.1

  5. Setup PC • Open the settings for the Ethernet connection that is being used • Possibly close all other connections • Set the IP address • For this example, the following IP addresses are used: • IP: 192.168.250.15 subnet: 255.255.255.0 • Default Gateway: 192.168.250.1 Note: Windows can have multiple Default gateways. By default all data will go through the first Default gateway or via the port with the highest priority. Turn off all other connections (including Wi-Fi) or remove the cable.

  6. Setup NX102 • Open Sysmac Studio and select new Project • Start with a new Controller type NX102-xxxx • Open Controller Setup in the Multiview Explorer • Select Build-in Ethernet / IP Port Settings

  7. Setup NX102 • Set the IP addresses • For this example the default IP addresses are used: • Port 1: 192.168.250.1 subnet: 255.255.255.0 • Port 2: 192.168.251.1 subnet: 255.255.255.0 • Set the IP Forward to Use(default setting) Scroll down

  8. Setup NX102 • Go online with the controller • If necessary, set the communication settings correctly via the Controller Communication setup • Synchronize the project with the controller

  9. Setup NA • "Add" an NA HMI in the existing project • Choose the NA in the Multiview Explorer

  10. Setup NA • Open HMI Settings in the Multiview Explorer • Select TCP/IP Settings • Set the IP address • For this example, the following IP addresses are used: • IP: 192.168.251.20 subnet: 255.255.255.0 • Default Gateway: 192.168.251.1

  11. Setup NA • Go online with the HMI via USB • If necessary, adjust the communication settings via HMI - Communication Setup • Synchronize the project with the NA

  12. Online NA • Disconnect the NA if it is still open (USB) and remove the USB cable • Fill in IP address, subnet and default gateway via the HMI • Set the communication settings to the next setting via Controller Communication Setup • Ethernet Connection via a hub • IP adres 192.168.251.20 • Go Online If it does not work, check Default gateways on the PC eg via CMD + ipconfig Test does not always work in this case
