  7. W5 History Detective Questions Year 8 WHY? Why was it created? Did the Author have an aim? WHO? Who created it? Did they have any beliefs or attitudes that may affect their views WHERE? Where was it created? WHAT? What Information does it give? Fact or are Opinion? W5 WHEN? When was it Created? Did the Writer have first hand experience?

  8. History Detectives A bag has been found. containing various items. Can you use these items to discover what the owner is like? This is USING EVIDENCE – ARTEFACTS.

  9. Homework: Year 8 • COMPLETE ASSIGNMENT 1 • YOUR HISTORY: Interview an older person (mum/dad/granny/granda) Find out what life was like when they were young. Events / technologies/ entertainment / bands/ singers/
