Check-out for Graduation • Senior Checkout Form distributed during 3rd houron May 12th • Read and follow the directions carefully • Return books and pay fees owed to the Bookstore before checkout day to avoid late rush. (Due May 12th - 16th) • Cafeteria fees must be paid to the Cafeteria • Library books/fees paid to Media Center

  10. Official out of district transcripts due to Counseling no later than May 12th. It is YOUR responsibility to get transcriptsto Shadow Ridge on time! Out of District Credits You Need to Graduate! (Example: Primavera)

  13. Seniors can & have failed second semester and have not graduated.

  14. Seniors can be dropped from classes because of attendance.

  15. Senior Pranks can & have caused students to miss graduation, and to even be arrested and face criminal charges.

  16. Rehearsal • Attendance is MANDATORY @ Friday’s rehearsal. • Friday, May 16th, SRHS MAIN GYM 9:00 am Sharp!

  17. MAY 16th • Attendance is MANDATORY • Make-up finals given at 7:15 am • Senior Breakfast at 7:00 am • Senior Assembly at 8:30 am • Rehearsal in main Gym at 9:00 am sharp! • Caps & Gowns handed out after rehearsal REHEARSAL GUIDELINES

  18. MAY 16th • You must give Administration advance notice, IN WRITING, if you are unable to attend rehearsal. Only valid reasons will be accepted. (Doctor/Dentist etc.) (Notices to Mr. Hawkins) REHEARSAL GUIDELINES

  19. MAY 20th Ceremony is at the University of Phoenix Stadium All students MUST arrive at 4:15 pm (Bring your cap & gown with you) Ceremony starts at 5:30 pm GRADUATION DAY! REHEARSAL GUIDELINES

Dress nicely- Church/nice restaurant apparel • No decorations on caps • No additions to the gown, including flowers (except school approved organization/club regalia) • Be in acceptable dress for the event, if not you will be sent home to change if needed or will not be allowed to walk- Please don’t let it happen to you! Commencement Attire Hi MOM

  21. Female graduates: dress, dress pants, blouse, dress shoes (no athletic shoes, flip flops or spiked heels) • Male graduates: dress shirt and tie is the expectation, dress slacks, khakis, dress shoes (no athletic shoes or sandals/flip flops) • NO JEANS! Commencement Attire

  22. No cell phones • No purses • Students under the influence will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony • Bring cap/gown in hand to the site • Final check before entering the seating area at the stadium Ceremony Guidelines

  23. Will be given to Seniors at the end of the ceremony. • Diplomas/Certificates will be given the next day for Seniors who are absent or were disciplined during the event. • Graduation is the last official school activity: Act responsibly - it’s your event! Diplomas/Certificates

  24. Thurs., May 15th (6:00-6:30 pm check-in) held in the Auditorium • 6:30 pm program begins • Return form to Counselor at the end of this program. Senior Awards Night University Scholarship
