  4. Self-Assessment • Letters of recommendation • Completing a self-assessment along with your resume helps turn a good recommendation into a great recommendation. • Attach your resume

  6. Junior / Senior year “To Do List” • Strong finish in all classes • College campus visits • NCAA Eligibility Center • Military Academy Nomination Process • Consider taking an ACT and/or SAT

  7. Testing: Spring / Summer / Fall • SAT • All colleges accept, some prefer over ACT • English & Math sections • ACT • All college accept, some prefer over SAT • English, Math & Science sections

Summer Senior Conferences • Post cards will be mailed in early June • Reminding students / parents to make a Summer Senior Conference • Meeting to discuss senior year • Counselor, Student & Parent • Check schedule • Double check graduation requirements • Discuss plans after high school and how the school counselor can help

  9. Upcoming College 101 & College Fair • College 101 • (6pm – 8pm, 4/17) • Variety of Workshops and Presentations – chose up to three • SEC College Fair • Hunt Valley, MD (April 25 ~ 7-9pm) • Register online: www.SECcollegetour.org
