Vintage Teen FIRST EVER EDDITION! 60’s special Jan 2014 • THIS IS A QUICK AND LIMITED EXAMPLE OF THE FRONT PAGE OF VINTAGE TEEN. • EVERY MONTH THERE WILL BE DIFFERENT EDDITIONS SHOWING 1960-1994 SONGS TO 13-19 YEAR OLDS. • OVER THE YEARS THE GAP OF YEARS WILL GET WIDER, SO IN 2015 THE GAP WILL BE BETWEEN 1960-1995, THIS IS TO INCLUDE OTHER MUSIC QUALITIES IN THE MAGAZINE. • THE NEW 60’S STYLE BAND • INFO: THIS BOX WILL SHOW NEW BANDS THAT ARE IN THE STYLE OF ANYTHING PREE 1994. IN THIS CASE IT WOULD BE AN ARTIST THAT SOUNDS AS IF IT HAS COME OUT OF THE 60’S, AS IT IS A 60’S SPECIAL

Vintage Teen: USP • The Unique selling: lack of magazines for younger people who are interested in older music. • Growing number number of male teenagers who dislike the lack of different genres in the chart. • This fact will make the magazine more profitable because all teenagerswould be able to buy somethingdiffrent.

Vintage Teen: Reader Profile • The target audience is for teenagers, • Because, teens such as myself need a variety in music • Many of my friends who are between the Target age think this is a good idea • This will inspire teens to listen to a variety of music between 1960-1994 • Cover charge: 50p for first edition £1 for the other editions • It will be available in shops andon the internet at the same price. • There will be free limited versions of the magazine, also on the internet.

Indie Escape: USP • Unique selling point: if you Buy the magazine, you get a free new CD indie single or download on the back page. • This is good because it will:help independent music grow, asa wider audience get to hear new songs. • When magazine is selling well, this would help new artists sales. people buying the magazine = buying the new single. When Artists get their new single on the magazine, they will get a share of the profits made from that edition of that magazine

Indie Escape: USP • Their are many Indie magazine, such as “Q” and “kerrang!”. • None of which offer weekly free singles. • It also offers a wide range of genre, with artists such as “Macklemoreand Ryan Lewis” tothe “Red Hot ChiliPeppers”. • All artists included right and produce their own music. • The magazine is weekly. • Their will be two special editions each year, during Christmas and in the first week of the summer holidays. • Each will include a 2 disk album: - Christmas will include the best selling indie songs of the year past (40 tracks ). - the summer will include potential best selling indie songs of the summer (40 tracks ).
