  2. INTRODUCTION • My magazine is based on heavy metal rock as I am interested in this genre. This is the reason why I chose to choose a rock artist singer.

  3. From looking at this mood board as you can see it is very different and looks very wild. These pictures are presented to represent the artist and the genre.

  4. Ideas of magazine name! • Raw • Rockstar • Hard rock life • Hard • Heavy • From looking at the three names I have come up with for my magazine, I decided to ask around to see which name is the best ideal name for the magazine. The most popular name was “Hard Rock Life” The reason for this is because it is different and fits in perfectly with the genre.

  5. Target Audience • Hard Rock life will be aimed at teenagers who have a passion for heavy metal rock. Therefore this magazine will appeal to them as it has everything they are interested in such as heavy metal artists and gossip, fashion etc. • My target audience would have to have an interest in this because that is what the magazine is based on.

  6. Advertisement? • I will be using varies different forms of advertisement in order to reach a huge amount of my target audience as much as possible in order for hard rock life magazine to be well known. • This includes billboards and posters as I believe, although they are simple but are very effective and eye catching. • I will also be using the internet for public awareness, such as facebook, twitter, tumblr etc. This is an excellent way to promote and advertise my magazine as these are popular social network sites, where I would find a lot of my target audience on.

  7. Unique selling point • Hard rock life magazine is unique and stands out from the other magazines. From looking at the front magazine you can already tell that it will be wild, interesting fun and crazy to read. • I believe that this magazine will be a success as it has everything a rock teenager would want. This includes, latest gossip and information on popular rock artists, latest rock fashion, tattoos and piercings. Even gives you tips on how to make fake piercings and fake tattoos to look real, if your to young to get the in order to pursue that rock start cool look! • Rock star magazine will have competitions every week for you to enter and win cool prizes. These prizes could be winning free tickets to rock band concerts or winning fantastic rock clothing.

  8. Price! • I had to consider the target audience when deciding the price of hard rock life magazine. I have come to the conclusion that it will cost £1:80 this is good as it is very cheap and affordable for the teenagers who would be buying it.

  9. Where is it going to be sold? • My magazine will be sold in varies different supermarket such as Tesco’s, Iceland, Asda etc. • Also at local newsagents! • Hard rock life will also have there own website where readers have the opportunity to order monthly subscription on there.

  10. Story • I will be interviewing a new rock artist singer called Amy Sinfieldwho has a passion for singing and heavy metal. This will definitely appeal to my target audience as they would be very interested to hear about a new artist in the music of rock. This will allow them to keep up to date with the rock music life, so that they will not miss out.

  11. fUTURE • I will be publishing my magazine by s company called Future as it is the biggest guitar and music-making publisher in the UK. The music they base around are classic rock, metal hammer, rhyhm etc.
