College Admissions • Each school is different- use MCIS www.mtcis.intocareers.organd the college website to confirm what the admission criteria are. • Montana University System schools: • http://mus.edu/Prepare/Prepare/MUS_Admission_Standards.asp#hsgrad • Apply early for those schools you know you are interested in especially for scholarship deadlines

  10. Scholarships • Most money comes directly from the school in which you are attending.   11. College and Military Visits • Both College and Military representatives are available to meet with. See me for a pass. All are listed on the Google Calendar. • Arrange ahead of time to meet with representatives by signing up in the counseling center if you would like a small group setting for specific info. • If you would like to meet with a recruiter it must be done during a study hall in the counseling center (if at school). • If you would to not be contacted by a recruiter, just ask nicely… if that doesn’t work let me know.

  12. Senior Projects • Every senior has to do a senior project regardless if you are graduating early. • Parent Meeting is scheduled for September 17th at 7pm in the cafeteria. • Packets will be distributed then. Advisor: * Ms. Mooney

  13. College Fair • @ University of Montana- UC 3rd floor- Tuesday, Sept 24. • Senior class meeting with Josten’s will be at 8:30am in the cafeteria. • We will leave immediately afterward for the fair and arrive back for you prior to lunch. • Permission forms and online registration for the fair is required by Sept. 19th to arrange buses. • www.montanacolleges.com to register online. You must have a bar code to get on the bus along with your permission slip turned in to your homeroom teacher.

  14. Business • Pull out your cell phones now- email me at vrgibson@mcpsmt.org Also…check the list going around and make sure your name is listed right for graduation. Please fill out your email and personal phone also. • Sign up for your senior conference with me. • Transcripts- fill out a transcript request form • Letters of recommendation/forms • Senior Study Hall letter • Must be scheduled for 6 periods. Co-op and senior study hall do not count. • Administrative approval needed for any exceptions

  15. Transcript Review • Make sure you have everything you need to graduate based on your goals.
