  4. Problems & Solutions Problems- Solutions- Carpool, walk, and ride your bike to school to not burn fossil fuels to pollute the air. To clean up coal-fired power plants and oceangoing vessels. Strengthen the Ozone air. • Polluting the air and causing people to die. • Carry deathly components that makes the air we breath to give us problems with our lives.

  5. What are the symptoms? • Burning in the eyes • Coughing • Tightness in the chest • This can harm the people that have angina, asthma, and other problems with the lungs.

  6. Contributes to Air Pollution • Tobacco smoke • Acid rain • Paints fumes • Power plants • Wildfires • Large ships • Nuclear weapons, and many more.

  7. Transportation and Air Pollution • 28% of Americans have been involved with air pollution that has been formed with transportation sources. • People who live in California by Seaports are in a high risk of cancer. • Transportation is Los Angles is really big especially Seaports.

  8. What is happening in Mexico City? • Eight year olds have been breathing in highly amounts of polluted air and can cause effects to the lungs and in the growth of the children.

  9. “The Great Smog?” • A bad incident in London that nearly killed 4,000 people in six days and in a couple of months about 8,000 people died.
