Usually the larger of the bosminids in Florida, common and wide spread throughout U.S. Frontal bristle near the midpoint between the eye and base of the rostrum. Mucro short, much like Eubosmina longispina. Posterior-dorsal portion of the carapace much rounded than other bosminids.
