  1. Kiowa Kiowa-Hunted with bows and dog like creatures. They had a tradition called the sun dance. It was basically a social ranking. First Indian to get accused of murder was in the tribe. There names were big tree and Satanta. Brazos river Red river North Central Plains The geography of the north central plains is mostly rolling parries. It is less populated as the other regions but not the least. The economy is mostly manufacturing transportation, ranching and farming. Comanche Dallas Comanche- They were not a friendly tribe. They once had thousands of people in there population. They arrived in many family groups. They wore fancy clothes. Sabine Great Plains Colorado river Apache The great plains is one of the flattest areas on this earth; with a lot of flat grasslands. The economy for the great plains is wheat, cotton ,oil ,and natural gas. El Paso Apache-The apaches began at around 1000 a.d. and 1400 a.d. . The apaches were nomadic (meaning they move thee camp around ). They lived completely off the buffalo. They were enemies with the Comanche . Austin Caddo Coastal Plains The Caddo were a very complex tribe, and they were also very smart. They liked the food maze. They consumed large amounts of maize,Sientist think it was there primary food source. They had many types of corn like maize. Pecos The coastal plains gets the most rainfall out of any of the regions, that is manly why it has the most population. The geography is mostly grass parries and pine trees. . The economy is mostly fishing,shrimping,lumber, mining for fossil fuels ,ranching and farming. Mountains and Basins San Antonio Jumano Mountains and basins is the driest region not holding many major cities. The geography is mostly mountains and basins. There economy is mostly based on tourism and touristic events; such as camping,fishing,etc. Jumano- Did not cover up there genatalians and breast but wore garments such as shoes. Were buffalo hunters and traders. Used clubs and bows in war. They supplied corn, dried squash, beans and other things to the farming villages. Houston Rio Grande Karankawas Karankawas- They were nomadic people. There transportation is a dug out canoe. They loved wrestling ,in fact they called them “The wrestlers". The woman tattooed themselves. They would rub a mixture of dirt and alligator or shark grease as a sun block. Coahuiltecan- The Coahuiltecan were a lot of small groups making up the Coahuiltecan. They ate almost anything including snakes,lizards,frogs and snails. They suffers from European diseases such as small pox and measils.The Maramies ( a small group making up the Coahuiltecans) breast fed there children up to 12 years of age. Coahuiltecans
