  5. At UC Davis… • Approximately 2200 total awards • Awarded to 1800-1900 students per year • ~800 are continuing students • 250 different types • 75% are merit based • 25% are need based

  6. Scholarship Endowments • Currently: • Most endowment money is awarded • Endowments come from gifts >$25,000 • Rank differs between colleges • Future: • Comprehensive campaign

  7. The Application Process at UCD • Freshmen and Transfers apply during Admission Process • FAFSA must be filed (need-based only) • Continuing Students apply between October and December

  11. 1) Electronic Resources are Key • The three most desired resources are the three online ones: • a searchable database hosted by UC Davis (84.3% “interested” or “very interested”) • an email notification system (75.6%) • a single-application system for multiple scholarships (92.8%).
