  1. Or following Jesus Just taking a walk…

  2. Is Our Life an Open Book?

  3. Seek Out people to speak into your life Acts 2:42-47 NAS 42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; 45 and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need. 46 Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart

  4. Seek Out people to speak into your life 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts 2:42-47 NAS

  5. Accountability requires transparency Exodus 18:13-18 NAS 13 It came about the next day that Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood about Moses from the morning until the evening. 14 Now when Moses' father-in-law saw all that he was doing for the people, he said, "What is this thing that you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit as judge and all the people stand about you from morning until evening?" 15 Moses said to his father-in-law, "Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

  6. Accountability requires transparency 16 "When they have a dispute , it comes to me, and I judge between a man and his neighbor and make known the statutes of God and His laws." 17 Moses' father-in-law said to him, "The thing that you are doing is not good. 18 "You will surely wear out, both yourself and these people who are with you, for the task is too heavy for you; you cannot do it alone. Exodus 18:13-18 NAS

  7. Seek out people to speak into their lives 2 Timothy 2:1-7 NAS 1 You therefore, my son , be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 3 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. 5 Also if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules. 6 The hard-working farmer ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops.

  8. Seek out people to speak into their lives 7 Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything. 14 Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers. 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. 16 But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness, 17 and their talk will spread like gangrene . Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18men who have gone astray from the truth saying that the resurrection has already taken

  9. Seek out people to speak into their lives place, and they upset the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness." 2 Timothy 2:1-7 NAS

  10. Authentic living requires transparency Psalm 51:6,10-13 NAS 6 Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit. 13Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners will be converted to You.

  11. Open Book Action Points • Seek someone to be a mentor/discipler in your life. • Be accountable to others. • Seek someone to mentor/disciple. • Be authentic. • Share your heart and tell people your faith story about Jesus.
