Present • Open economy; growing union power • No Apartheid • Phasing out tariffs • Reduced levels of state intervention • Daimler-Benz • Not paying social acceptable wages • Implemented recognition programs to achieve minimum worker output which are possibly not aligned • Extra wages • Draws on consumer goods
