  2. I HAD A LOT OF FUN !!! • Oskar ly is the most Wonderful person and the best Fashion designer. I enjoyed interviewing her. I learned things from her that I didn’t know. She was so Helpful.

  3. EXPECTATIONS • Look at her sketches ( drawings ). • Sew my designs with her that I sketched. • Look at her portfolio and see if any new designs were made. • Watch a fashion show. • Volunteer to work with her when she is doing fashion shows for her designs.

  4. Were expectations met or nor ? • No this expectation was not met, I didn’t get to look at her sketches. • No this expectation was not met I didn’t get to sew my designs with her. • Yes this expectation was met and I got to look at her portfolio. • No this expectation was not met, because I didn’t get to go and watch a fashion show. • Yes this expectation was met, I get to work with with her on her next fashion show.

REFLECTIONS ON THE EXPERIENCE • I especially liked when I looked at her portfolio because she added more designs and I got to look at them. • One of the things that surprised me was that she told me she was self-taught like me. • One of the most interesting things was her taking us to go watch the play. • I learned that whatever you love in your life you have to fight for it to succeed it no matter what.

  6. Outline of Daily Activities • We went to her apartment and interviewed her. • Then she took us to go see this play called [Sia (B)], because she had to take notes on there costume to make fixes on them.

  7. Questions & Answers from interviewer • What classes do you feel were most important to prepare you for work ? Business classes especially accounting. Marketing (who will buy it? ) 2. What advise would you have for someone entering this field of work? Shadow people (corporate setting), Contact companies ( big and small), Shadow a boutique. 3. Were there any teachers/mentors that played a role in your decision? E-mentor ( she thought she was like her), working with people. 4. What previous experience did you find useful for this job? Sketching ( quite for a little then came back to it ), Event organization, Planning, Customer service ( communicating). 5. Do you work alone or part of a team ? Make clothes alone. Fashion shows she needs people.

  8. CONCLUSIONS • Most enlightening part was when Oskar took us to go and watch the play. It was a new experience for me. I enjoyed it a lot. • Yes if I had a chance to work at her company I would love to, Because she is a very wonderful person to work with and we love the same thing ( Fashion Design ).

  9. RECOMMENDATIONS • What would have made your experience more valuable ? I think taking my designs with me and get help from her to make my designs with real fabric, so that I learn more from her. • What suggestions would you offer for improving the shadow experience ? Extend time and talk more with her.
