  1. Sarah Kempfer Final Exam

  2. Leadership • The puzzle shows all the things you need for good leadership • This cartoon shows all the different kinds of leadership there can be. There are different ways to show leadership depending on the situation or the person. • Sometimes to make things happen you have to step up and take charge. • No one will do it for you. • Leadership doesn’t come easily but if you work for it its achievable. • With leadership you can make dreams a reality. • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IM7KnsLzu9s

  3. American Dream • In this short story it describes someone's view of the American Dream. • They are perfectly happy with what they have, and aren’t pining after anything else. • The American Dream can be different for everyone. • http://www.helium.com/items/439042-short-stories-the-american-dream SHORT STORY • The American Dream... The very idea of it has eluded me for so long! I mean, I know what the "Dream" is - happiness, success, nice home with a white picket fence in suburban America, great husband, 2 great kids, one dog... It has got to be an illusion! There is just no way that anyone can achieve this goal! I see it, though, every day driving by the pricey new homes with perfectly manicured lawns, brand new Volvo in driveway (or these days Scions & Prias). Spunky little blonde-haired, blue-eyed children play with other spunky little children. Teenage girls with perfect skin and cell phones at the mall, shopping in the stores I can't afford to shop in, throwing their bags in the back seat of their newly bought Hondas. Where do these people come from? Is there some great secret I know nothing about? • Sitting here wondering how they all do it, I realize that I am perfectly happy with my lower middle class life. I don't have any Joneses to keep up with, nor would I care what the Joneses think. And so, may be the pricey new home and white picket fence in suburban America aren't available for me. A mid-size SUV will do I suppose. But, that's OK - I made out better on the rest of the dream - terrific husband, three beautiful blond-haired, blue-eyed healthy children (who, mind you, also care nothing about the Joneses)and three really great dogs! What more could a girl ask for?

  4. Accountability of Leaders • Another thing we learned this year is accountability. • We learned how leaders need to be held accountable for there actions. • To hold yourself accountable. • Don’t blame others. • Or look for excuses.

  5. Courage • Courage can be difficult to attain but that once you do, it’s a good feeling. • Standing up to people can be hard but it takes courage sometimes to do what's right. Our Challenges When all we see,is darkness and gloom. We feel totally helpless, while running from doom. We eventually confront, our inner brick wall. Our choice is to break it,or give up and fall. We may search for our strengths, waiting patiently deep inside. From life’s obstacles, there’s no reason to hide. All our challenges,we must embrace and defeat. As we open our eyes, our true purpose we’ll greet. Let’s take a step outside, our routine comfort zone. This will carve a path, where our goals we shall own. Our personal challenges, quite difficult may seem. But, if we believe in ourselves, life will be as sweet – as a dream. by anitapoems.com

  6. Conclusion • To be a leader is to be someone to look up too, to be comfortable in yourself and your own choices to show others your view. • An American Dream can be anything you want but you have to make it happen yourself. • To be able to hold accountability of leaders, even if that leader is you. • It takes courage to stand up to people
