  2. Peer review in Red pen • Write “corrected by <you name>” on top on the first page • Answer the following questions in complete sentences commenting about their information: whether they are missing information, their information is not detailed enough or the things that are good. Directions

  3. Review his/her rough draft and make sure that all of the content that was checked for during the outline is included. Content Review

  4. Does it introduce the biographical/historical elements that will be used in throughout the essay? • Are they introduced well? • Is there a clear thesis that includes the core, the breakdown, and the source(s). StyleIntroduction

  5. Are the concrete detail, commentary 1, and commentary 2 in the basic order within each chunk? If he/she moved them around, does it still make sense? • Does he/she transition each element of the body paragraph well? StyleBody

  6. Does it draw a conclusion based on all of the commentary stated? Is it explained well? Why or Why Not? • Is there a clear closing thesis? • Does it only summarize? (It should not) • Referencing details to explain the conclusion is fine • Does it sate any new supportive facts/details? (It should not) StyleConclusion

  7. Is it: • Typed • Black/Blue Ink • Font: Times/Courier/Arial • Size: 10/12 • Margins: One Inch • Spacing: Double • Correctly headed and titled Format

  9. Check for grammar errors, such as: • Commas & Semicolons • Spelling & Capitalization • Contractions • Symbols & Abbreviations • Citations • Indenting Grammar Check
