  7. FAQs • Which are the best modules? • Which are the easiest modules? • Which modules should I take or alternatively, if you were me which ones would you take? • Which modules don’t have exams? • Who teaches on modules • Are any modules capped? • Can I change my mind later? Yes but you must ensure that: • You have any pre-requisites. • You have checked that there is not a timetable clash. • The module leader (or Language School) is OK with you doing the module • The DPD is OK with your choice. • This does not however guarantee you a place on the new module as it may already be full. • ‘I have heard that…..’; ‘a friend said….’ • What about modules that are not listed?

  8. What Influences Choice of Elective? • Individual interests • Topic • Style of delivery: lectures/seminar mix • Style of assessment: assignments v exams • Individual v group work • Module leader/module staff • Modules with ‘high marks’ • Overall make up of choices in stage 2 and 3 • All Innovation and Enterprise etc. • Career goals: what message does your choice send to a potential employer? • Broad v narrow: choose modules to show either breadth or depth of knowledge • To work for an international company • To set up my own business
