Retailer Considerations • Survey retailers to determine their needs • Update vendor agreements to include eWIC policies • Provide notices to retailers regarding project dates • Consider use of certifications from previous state implementations • Factor in the timing of equipment deliveries • Clerk training- TPP vs. Stand Beside- Process changes • End-to-End testing before pilot • Avoid holidays

MIS Interface Considerations • MIS Interface to the processor • MIS Interface to clinics • Coordination is needed between processor and State, especially when the MIS is upgraded in conjunction with eWIC • Telecom and networking between MIS and contractor/clinic • Testing of interface- Between clinics- Between processor • Initial data loads • Initial APL creation and transfer
