  3. Specific actions • Gave king Arthur his magic sword Excalibur • Fostered Lancelot. Trained him to be a knight. • Casted a spell on her former master, depriving Camelot of its great protector. • She seems to be more of a full-time body guard than a guiding spirit • She saved the King from Morgan Le Fays maids gift (tunic that was supposed to kill Arthur)

  5. Roles • The role that Lady of the Lake plays is Arthur’s guardian spirit • Present on Avalon river during Arthur’s death- to lead him to the after life.
