  3. THE POZNAŃ SCHOOL OF BANKING (WSB) • non- state business university school funded in 1994, • about 7000 students • students: working adults, about 75% on part-time weekend programs • experience with BSC method since 2009 – first strategy written and implemented

  4. THE POZNAŃ SCHOOL OF BANKING (WSB) school mission: „Reliable partner in practical education”

RATIONALE FOR THE HR PROJECT UNDER BSC • no consistent system of HR for academic faculty (AF) so far • diagnosis in 2012: HR for AF as a key requirement for sustainable implementation of the school’s mission • faculty members are the main School’s resource • they have the biggest influence on the practical dimension of education • they bear most of the responsibility for students’ satisfaction

EMOLL METHODOLOGY WORKSHOPS • Coordination of strategic objectives on owners level (TEB Academia) – 3 months • Workshops in WSB – six 1-day sessions • Project meetings – once a month • Inspection meetings – once a month Participants: • EMOLL experts group • WSB managers • WSB administrative workers and lecturers

ACTIONS PLANNED UNDER BSC IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT • Research and diagnosis • Provision of budget • Hiring a training coordinator • Diagnosis of training needs • Creation of portfolio of training and development activities • Elaboration of agenda • Development of remuneration system • Design and development of contents for programs • Elaboration of evaluation system of training activities

  8. KPIs KPIs are specified for all 9 actions planned. They are divided into fourcomponents: • Learning to growth: • Research and diagnosis report • Portfolio of training and development activities • Combined satisfaction index • Internal processes • Hiring a training coordinator • Number of people diagnosed (training needs) • % of designed and developed activities listed in the portfolio • Agenda for implementation and development

  9. KPIs KPIs are specified for all 9 actions planned. They are divided into four components: • Finance • Approval of established training budget • Approval of remuneration system reflecting improvement of teaching skills • Client • Alumni satisfaction • Students’ satisfaction • Faculties’ satisfaction • Employers’ satisfaction

GOALS OF THE PROJECT • build a real competitive advantage by enhancing the practical dimension of teaching • improve the faculty performance and commitment to WSB and its strategy • bring growth of satisfaction of external clients – students, alumni and employers • bring growth of satisfaction of the internal clients – faculty members

  12. bit Polska Sp. z o.o. • training company founded in 2003, as a part of bitgroup • 33 employees and about 60 cooperating trainers • partner of worldwide companies i.e. Microsoft, Mindjet, Global Knowledge and many others, • no experience with BSC
