  1. RULES AND REGULATIONS GENERAL • Students must come on time. • No mobile phone on in the class. • Students must dress up as the dressing code in the university (muslim/muslimah clothes). • Students must wear shoes. Sandals are prohibited.

  2. RULES AND REGULATIONS ACADEMIC • Students must attend the class minimally 75% of the total meetings. Absence more then 25% will result D or E for the final score. • Students must submit classwork and homework on time. Late submission will not be accepted. • Students must attend the midterm and final test. There won’t be additional schedule for tests. • No discussion after the final test. Consultation is open during the semester at any places.

  3. SCORING SYSTEM • Attendance 10% • Class assessment 20% • Home assignment 20% • Mid-term test 20% • Final Test 30% • GRADE A > 85 • GRADE B 70 – 89 • GRADE C 55 – 69 • GRADE D 45 – 54 • GRADE E < 45

MID-TERM TEST • Completing sentences • Example: • The students are studying hard because ......................... • The students are studying hard because they want to pass in the final examination this semester. • Joining Sentences • Example: • Some students do not come to the final exam. • They will not get the best score. • Some students do not come to the final exam therefore they will not get the best score. • Some students who do not come to the final exam will not get the best score.

  7. FINAL TEST • Writing a paragraph • Example: • Choose one of the topic below. You have to spend about 30 minutes on this task. You should write at least 100 words. • Writing a simple essay • Example: • Choose one of the topics below. You should spend about 45 minutes on this task. You should write at least 250 words.
