  8. WP7: Preliminary KM3NeT Cost Model • The preliminary model is implemented in an excel matrix • using the PBS definition in the first column • and the cost model in the first row (Supply, Manufacture, Sea operation, Operation), i.e.: C. Sollima, INFN-Pisa Paris, 23-24-2009

WP7: KM3NeT Cost Model Proposal, 2/2 • Status of the Data base software • To define the PBS • To upload documents • Document management by project or institution • Contribution by WPs • Definition of the state of art of the technologies • Report on the up to date status of develpment on the R&D • Definition of the Detector layout • Definition of the Technical specification • Definition of the test qualification and infrastructure for components / systems for KM3NeT production • Definition of the integration process and infrastrure • Contribution from the PCC • Approval of the work planned by WP7 • To require the collaboration between WPs and WP7 C. Sollima, INFN-Pisa Paris, 23-24-2009

  14. WP7: Conclusions • The cost model is going to be implemented  May 2009 • In the mean time a format for getting needed information will be available  < 3 weeks • It is suggested to look at the production of the KM3NeT • Storage • Integration and qualification procedures • In the TDR it is recommended to use qualified solutions • More collaboration is required from the other WPs and by the designers C.
