  1. The plasmatic membrane is a selectively permeable barrier. It controls the passage of substances in and out of the cell in different ways depending on their size.

  4. Entry of large particles 2 3 1 The waste products of digestion are expelled from the cell (exocytosis). Lysosomes break down the substances inside the vesicle. A vesicle is formed (endocytosis).
