Erasmus+ Activity K1project „We are the Readers“ • 2015-2017 • The main aim was to support reading literacy at school • Use books from The English Library which was founded as the gift for the 1st place in the competition for teachers „Grab the Reader“ organised by Prague Post Endowment and Macmillan Publishing House • How to effectively work with an English text(books, articles, music, theatre performance etc.)

Socrates-Comenius-Erasmus • Motivation of teachers and students • Visiting, exploring new countries, new schools and schoolmates • Improvement of working (English) language • Participants learn how to work in international teams • Participants are responsible for the final project • A lot of fun and new experience • Erasmus+ combines the best experiences of Socrates and Comenius

We are the Readers II • Worksheets (how to work with the books before,during and after reading) • Afterschool clubs English Drama (14 years old students performed Romeo and Juliet for 500 viewers) and the club of English Literature (students worked with the first versions Worksheets for English lessons) • Method CLIL in Czech lessons

  14. We are the Readers III • OUP supported the project with the seminar for English teachers of the region „Read and Have Fun“ • Janet Wingate, Bermuda´s writer, met students and presented her book Nonsuch Summer • Martin Hilský, a famous translator of Shakespeare´s plays, presented his works
