  5. Did you know? Greece was the first country to have the Olympics...

  6. The first Olympic games were in 776 BC. Almost 3000 years ago!

  8. What was the weather like Barnaby?

  9. What religion are Greek people? Most people in Greece believe in Christianity. I noticed that this lovely church had the symbol of the cross. Look its on top of the bell tower? Can you see any others?

  10. What is school like for Greek children? Children start Primary school at 6 and stay until they are 12 years old... Then when they are 12, they go to Gymnasia. The children stay there for 3 years until they are 15 years old. People sometimes go to universities if they do well at school and want to get a good job.

  12. Greek buildings had pillars to help them stay stood up.

  13. What would happen to the buildings if they had no pillars...? Why were they so important?

  15. This is the Rio-Antirrio bridge. Did you know that it’s the longest in Europe?

  16. This is Santorini. Lots of people come on holiday here! Just look at that nice blue sea! Perfect for sailing in my boat.

  17. That was a great holiday! Greece is such an interesting country.
