  3. How do you know when to reteach? • Introducing new content • Consistent monitoring or assessing reveals if students have grasped the concept • If not, RETEACH! • Reviewing previously taught content • Assess mastery of skills to direct need for reteaching before moving forward

  4. How to Reteach • Whole group instruction: if the entire class did not get it • Small group instruction: If only a handful of students did not get it • Centers: to firm up and practice skills • Peer tutoring: One student teaches another student
