  2. Exercise 1 A temperature increase within seconds after powering up the blade server.

  3. Exercise 2 The IBM monitor is not working

  4. Exercise 3 The optical drive is not recognized by any blade server.

  5. Exercise 4 A storage drive passes the Fixed Disk or SAS Attached Disk diagnostics test, but the problem remains.

  6. Exercise 5 One or more blade servers are unable to communicate with the network.

  7. Exercise 6 Advanced Management Module FRU part number 44X3058 can only upgrade to firmware version BPET62C (or later).

  8. Exercise 7 The system might appear to be hung during a boot of the blade server

  9. Exercise 8 BladeCenter H or HT chassis has no power

  10. Exercise 9 • The ac and dc LEDs are not lit for multiple power supplies

  11. Exercise 10 • The dc LED is not lit but ac LED is lit

  14. Exercise 13 • LEDs are not lit for a blade server

  18. Exercise 17 • Cannot communicate with external ports on I/O module

  19. Exercise 18 • Blade server cannot access the media tray

  20. Exercise 19 • Multiple blade servers cannot access the media tray

  21. Exercise 20 • Cannot log in to the advanced management module

  22. Can ping the advanced management module but cannot access it

  23. Advanced management module is displaying built-in self test (BIST) errors
