SEBIG – key facts Funded by SEEDA to stimulate business growth Regional network of 8 Innovation & Growth Teams - UoG is heavily involved in Kent & Medway IGT Wealth of experience from Enterprise Hubs, IAS, HGCP etc., - Again UoG has deep involvement in the hubs To increase SE business turnover attributable to new products To increase the number of SE businesses operating internationally To maximise SE’s share of Inward Investment To generate GVA* and high quality jobs for the region, including *Gross Value Addition = Turnover + Employee salaries

  3. SEBIG - Increase turnover - Increase productivity - Grow to the next level up - Expand into new markets - Access international markets - Expand product range What’s in it for companies ? How will this be achieved ? - Tailored Support Program - Coaching/Mentoring - Leveraging public R&D funds - Innovation opportunities - Close collaboration with funders, investment agencies etc., - Working as a partnership
