  2. APAH’s Tremendous Growth 1989-2011 • 995 units in 12 properties • 8 properties funded with LIHTC • 8 properties funded with HOME loans • 11 properties funded with AHIF • 170 residents receive rental or supportive services • North and South Arlington Resident Services

PRESERVATION Buchanan Gardens • Built 1949 • APAH Purchased 2009 • $30 million renovation includes all new systems and finishes, energy-saving features, expanded units community room and playground. • Arlington AHIF and LIHTC financing • Renovation complete in Aug 2012 • 111 Units • 100% affordable units (50% and 60% AMI) • 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units

PIPELINE Arlington Mill • Groundbreaking: Late summer 2012 • Completion: December 2013 • 4 story, new wood-frame construction • Public land for public good • Earthcraft certification • $30 million project • LIHTC financing • 122 units • 121 affordable units (40%, 50% and 60% AMI • Innovative 8-unit efficiency wing targeting those hardest to house. • Efficiency, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units • All units are visitable
