  2. Announcements Battle of the Books Battle of the Books--the t-shirts are in. Bring your $12 to Ms. Burke and get your shirt.

  3. Announcements Step Team There will be step team practice today (Tuesday) and Thursday this week.

  4. Announcements Pennies for Patients The winners are in! IN 6th grade, Mrs. Young's class with $162.83, in 7th grade Mrs. Drake's class with 214.09, and in 8th grade Mr. Hixson's class with $123.45. Thank you all for your kindness. NJHS was able to raise over $1820.65!

  5. Announcements INTERNATIONAL WEEK 04/02 WED: International Food Day (dress like a food item) 04/03 THU: Heritage Pride or Panther Pride (wear heritage flag colors or panther colors) 04/04 FRI: Relay for Life Walk Colors

  6. Announcements Ecology Club members and students going on the Overnight Field Trip Prince William Park: There is a mandatory meeting Wed April 2, 2014 from  3-5:30 PM. Failure to attend could prevent you from attending  the field trip. Only Ecology Club members going on this trip need to attend this meeting. Mr. Henthorn

  7. Announcements 8TH GRADE DANCE GROUPS Attention 8th grade dance groups. If you are interested in performing April 3rd at the Parkside Spirit Night, please see Mrs. Pierce today!

  8. Announcements Robotics students interested in participating in Panther Pride Night this Thursday, please see Miss Brotsch by the end of the day.

  9. Announcements Today’s clue about a teacher for International Week is: The teacher is from an island that is part of the United States. If you know the answer, be the first to report to Mrs. Maibeth’s room, 822a, to claim your prize.

  10. Announcements Did you know that last year the American Cancer Society volunteers Gave more that 16,500 cancer survivors Rides to treatment? The Mini Relay for Life Walk is this Friday during all physical education classes. Are you ready to walk for a cure?

  11. Announcements Attention all NJHS and SCA members: You must see Mrs. Pierce in order to pick up your pass and a letter in regard to the Relay for Life event taking place this Friday. If you do not have a pass, you will not be excused by your teachers to attend this event as a volunteer.

  12. 5th Annual Mini Relay for Life Walk April 4th, 2014 Join in as we walk during all physical education classes. Step by step we can make a difference. The Parkside family first walked to show support for a mother of a one of our students. We soon understood that many of our Panther family and friends were effected by this disease. The battle continues as does our support. Please help us meet our goal of $1,000.00 by making a donation to the American Cancer Society today!
