Why these countries? • I have chosen Canada, Greenland, Italy, and Sweden • Learning about new countries all around the world • Good variety of different countries. • Informative, great idea for a power point presentation • I have chosen countries from at least 2 continents, for varied geography.

Canada • The Prime Minister of Canada is Stephen Harper but the highest power rules Canada just across the Atlantic Ocean in England, the Queen of England. • The population of Canada is about 33,422,000 • Languages include English and French • The main religions in Canada include Roman Catholicism and Protestant

  4. Greenland • The Prime Minister of Greenland is Anders Fogh Rasmussen • The population of Greenland is about 57,564 • Languages include Greenlandic and Danish • The only recognized religion in Greenland is Evangelical Lutheran Coat of Arms

  5. Italy • The president of Italy is Giorgio Napolitano • Italy has a population of about 59,715,600 • Language is mainly Italian • Religions include 90% Roman Catholic and 10% other. Coat of Arms

  6. Sweden • The Prime Minister of Sweden is Fredrik Reinfeldt • Sweden has a population of about 9,234,209 • The only official language is Swedish • The prevalent religion is Lutheran with 87%.
