  5. Frontal (Coronal) Plane Divides body into front & back portions.

  6. Transverse Plane Divides body into upper & lower portions.

  7. Medial Moving towards the midline of the body

  8. Lateral Moving towards the side of the body

  9. Anterior (Ventral) Front part of body anterior

  10. Posterior (Dorsal) posterior Back part of the body

  11. Superior (cephalic) Towards the feet Towards the head Inferior (caudal)
