Some Facts about The Garfield Middle School • In January we became our own Middle School. • Our classrooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors. • There are 3 ~ 7th Grade Clusters, 3 ~ 8th Grade Clusters, 1 Grade 7 and 8 Combined Cluster and 1~ 6th Grade Cluster. • We have 2 cafeterias. • We have an Olympic size swimming pool that the students use as part of their Physical Education Curriculum. • Our Middle School has approximately 600 students. • We celebrate the “Positive”. • Our motto is …DO THE RIGHT THING!

  7. Other Classes All Grade 7 students take Literacy classes

  8. All Grade 8 Students take Discrete Math classes (the work is actually harder in Discrete )

  9. All Students have TECHNOLOGY CLASSES

  10. Some of our Extra Curricular Activities are: • Aspirers • PALS • Tech Club • Drama Club • Hand Bell • Talent Show • Newspaper Club • Community Service Projects
