  2. Paul Revere1735- 1818 • Paul Revere lived in Boston Massachusetts during The War of Independence from Great Britten. He was caught in the middle of the war and was brought to jail as he tolled every body about the war. He joined a club called the Sons of Liberty. He was very diligent in his work

  3. Fredrick Douglass1818-1895 • Fredrick Douglass was a slave in Baltimore, Maryland. They wouldn’t let him read, so he taught himself. They didn’t want him to read about slaves or he will find out he was a slave. He did figure out he was a slave. So he pretended he was a sailor on the train he was on. The conductor didn’t notes he was a slave. He made up a News paper called The North Star.

  7. Mary McLeod Bethune1875-1955 Mary McLeod Bethune Dilligents, Justice Poor and sad Could not read books She went to high school She finally learned how to read She helped people all over the world All people loved her kindness and good thing

Roosevelt • Worked in Congress • Lived in a poor part of Texas • He gave schools special things • Did the great society • He had to over come poverty • Became president in 1963 • Became president from his dad • Did the new deal • Had to over come polio • Became president in 1933 • Became president from his uncle • Born in Hyde Park New York • Worked for Civil Rights • He wanted to help America Lyndon B. Johnson Franklin D. Roosevelt

Johnson • Worked for congress • Lived in a poor part of Texas • Caring with things with schools • Youngest member in congress • Donates money to schools, roads, and electricity • Became a senator • Believed in education • Did the great society • His diligents made many major laws to be passed

  10. Thurgood Marshall • He was born in Baltimore Maryland • The laws where limited • He wanted to become a lawyer and judge • Studied for a lawyer • Went to law school • Segration affected his life • When he got in trouble he read the consetution • Became top student

Cesar Chavez Great depression Strength in numbers Went to a lot of farms Born in Yuma Arizona Power in knowledge Can’t change through violence Stores gone bankrupt People lived in tents There was a march in california that lasted for 36 days Strikes were used for people to use their Freedom of Expression

  12. My favorite biography Cesar Chavez is my favorite because just because he is a Mexican american doesn’t mean he cant be treated like everone else.
