  2. Log In Screen for PEMS Initial Log In Instructions Your initial password is the word Password(case sensitive) Your User IDis your firstname.lastname (be sure to include the period, but no spaces – case is unimportant for the User ID)

  3. Password Change Screen After your initial log in, you will be asked to change your password to one of your choosing that you will be able to remember. If you should forget your log in information, please contact Mrs. Joanne Palmer – palmerj@sccp.sc.edu or Mrs. June Taylor – taylorja@musc.edu

  4. Main Screen Your Name and Information When you first log into PEMS

  5. List of Activity Logs Click on Activity Logs, then on the student’s name

  6. Individual Activity Log Screen You can look at this daily, weekly, or at the end of the rotation. To make it easier for the preceptor, if you approve of everything the student has entered just click on the “Click here to set all ‘None Selected’ items to ‘Agree’” link. Then click on the Update button at the bottom of the page.

  7. Evaluations List Screen Click on one of the 3 choices here Next, click on Evaluations (menu on left side), then click on the appropriate link next to the students name to complete their evaluations and attendance log. IMPORTANT – Do NOT approve the attendance log until the end of the rotation after the student has entered all of their hours.

  8. Rotations Course List Screen Finally, click on Rotations (menu on left side), then click on the Summary link next to the appropriate student’s name. Click on one of the choices here

  9. Summary Grading Screen This is where you will review your students’ assignments, and grade each with a pass or fail. You can also include comments here. Once you have reviewed all of the assignments, make sure to click on the Complete button at the bottom of the page. Thank you for working with our student(s)!
