What is a social scientist? A social scientist is someone who studies people and how they get along together.
Economist An economist studies how people make money and the choices they make about how to use their money.
Geographer A geographer studies the land, how people use the land and live with the animals/nature that inhabit the land.
Political Scientist A political scientist studies how people write, use and enforce the laws and rules.
Historian A historian studies the past and the decisions people have made to shape their lives (and even our lives today.)
Artifacts Social scientists learn about people in the past and present by studying artifacts.
