Something you would enjoy doing • What makes you happy? • When finding the right job, you need to look into your likes and dislikes. • If you like to help others but don’t like to see a broken bones or blood…. Then you should not be a doctor in an emergency room. • If you like helping kids and you have tons of patients…you should look into becoming a teacher.

  4. It can get you a step forward to a career. • When picking a job try to get in the field that you would be looking to have a career in : • If you want to be a Chef • Working in a restaurant or a hotel would be beneficial for you. • If you want to be a Teacher • It would be beneficial to work as a teachers aide/Campus Supervisor to learn the way a classroom is ran. • If you like to work in technology: • You would find it important to work in a computer lab or an entry level position in a technology based company.

Jobs that you are good at or want to become good at • When applying for a job you need to look at your abilities to perform the job. • If you don’t like to talk to people then a customer service job would not be ideal for you. • If you like computers and find it easy to navigate through these, then I would highly suggest you become a computer technician.
