  2. Third Grade Mission Third grade at FIE exists to promote independent thinking in order to provide a bridge for students into the intermediate learning environment.

  3. Third Grade Vision We envision a community formed by teachers, parents, and students, where all involved share a mutual respect, working as a team to meet everyone’s needs through a nurturing environment. Teachers collaboratively reflect on data to design and implement research-based lessons that are engaging and foster meaningful learning. As a result students will gain the ability to become independent thinkers and workers who are responsible for themselves as well as supportive and helpful to each other.
