  4. Workforce Health and Wellbeing Specialist Advisor • Appointed September 2008 • Sickness absence • Stress management • Staff engagement • Participation in Healthy Workplace Awards • Other initiatives

  5. Healthy Workforce Strategy • PCT led initiative • Other organisations involved include • Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust • Cornwall Partnership Trust • Cornwall Council • Working group made up of staff from all 4 organisations and staff groups

  6. Our vision • To ensure the workplace protects, maintains and enhances the physical, mental and social wellbeing of all staff, both in work and as part of their everyday lives

  7. Strategy contd • Based on NHS Health and Wellbeing Review recommendations • Has been accepted by the PCT Executive team and will now form part of the Organisational Development Plan for the organisation for 2010-11
