  2. Modelling of financial distribution • EMFF allocation not known • Present model today based on 3 funding scenarios • €72.4m – same as 2007-2013 • €100m allocation • €125m allocation • Shows prioritisation at different funding levels.

Modelling of financial distribution • Co-financing rates - art 94 • Between 20% and 75% • Can be varied by Union Priority • Some derogations • Control mostly 90% • Data collection 80% • Decommissioning 50% • Storage aid 100% • Present on basis of 50% co-financing, with derogations factored in.

  4. Approach to selection of measures • Finite EMFF allocation • Need to focus EMFF interventions • Restrict scope of EMFF OP • Other desirable investments may be Exchequer funded • subject to budget
